Martin Southern – Managing Director
One of three co-founders, Martin Southern brings extensive sales and management experience to Shark Finesse. He was formerly Group MD of a fully listed LSE Group, Sales Director of a listed European services group as well as being a qualified Chartered Accountant. Martin’s broad sales background comes from working within global companies across a number of different industries. This has given him the in-depth experience and knowledge to assist customers during the integration of Shark into their business. His formal financial background provides invaluable insight into the board process, which has proved essential in structuring the Shark business case output.
Martin Cowan – Commercial Director
Martin Cowan co-founded Shark Finesse backed by 15 years’ experience working within global corporations where he managed pre-sales support teams, global distributors and technical product groups. Martin is a graduate from Imperial College London where he studied Electrical Engineering and Business. He is a Chartered Engineer and uses his brains and experience to lead the Commercial teams to design and develop the benefit drivers for customer Shark software versions. When our customers want to see SFL’s deep understanding of their often complex business, it is Martin’s team that makes them sleep soundly.
Stephen Jackett – Technical Director
Stephen Jackett is the youngest co-founder of the team but had enough self-belief to borrow money for the business (without collateral). Despite these tender years (mid 30’s) he is the head of the Product Development team within Shark Finesse and is responsible for the identification and integration of the best technology features available to the Shark end user.
Stephen brought extensive experience to Shark and used this to deliver the ever changing requirements of the software products against the ever shortening patience of customers to have the latest things right now. He’s an avid technologist always keen to exploit latest cutting edge trends.
